Take me home began in 2005, producing pastas, sauces, lasagnes and pizza bases to family recipes in Coburg. The business originated from requests for lasagne trays from customers of the family's restaurant. It is run by husband and wife team Trent and Felicity.

The family behind the brand originates from Italy's Campania and Puglia regions. Their product range includes gluten-free, vegan and organic options. The business operates several brands from Coburg: Gnoccheria, opened in 2019, focuses on fresh gnocchi; Grocer provides ingredients including house-made raviolis; and Mangia, opened in early 2026, offers Italian-inspired takeaway.

Ingredients are sourced from a 5-acre organic farm in Thorpdale, Gippsland, owned by the founders' parents. The farm produces organic fruit and vegetables, including basil and tomatoes for their passata, with some produce available at the Grocer shop.
