Suncoast Harvest

Suncoast Harvest is a family-owned strawberry farm on the Sunshine Coast with a strong focus on sustainable farming. They use natural methods, nurturing the soil with organic composts, rock minerals, seaweeds, worm juice and microbes. Green manure crops are used between cycles and soil minerals are replenished with natural inputs to enhance biodiversity.

The farm aims to grow a sweet-eating strawberry with good shelf-life and optimal nutrition. Varieties are selected for their eating quality and shelf-life, and the business helps the industry by participating in field trials of new varieties. Their high quality strawberries are sold in markets across Australia and in select international markets. The business uses local suppliers where possible and is exploring recycled packaging options.
