About
Springhill Farms is a first-generation family-owned beef cattle property located on the banks of the Paterson River at the foothills of the Barrington Tops national park near Gresford in the Hunter Valley. The farm produces organic, grass-fed Angus beef using regenerative farming practices. These practices focus on soil health, biodiversity, and holistic planned grazing, with cattle moved daily using electric fencing. The farm is chemical-free on all pastures and does not use vaccinations or chemicals on its animals, instead using natural alternatives like worm juice and fish emulsion to fertilise paddocks. The aim is to increase carbon content in the soil and provide transparency on the paddock-to-plate journey.
Springhill Farms offers an online shop where customers can build their own meat box. The farm delivers weekly to many areas across Sydney, the Hunter Valley, Central Coast, and parts of regional New South Wales and the ACT.
