About
Sevens Creek Wagyu is a family-run cattle farm located in the Strathbogie Ranges in rural Victoria. The 900-acre property features bushland with the Seven Creeks running through it, and the farm focuses on caring for the land and its native wildlife. The owner, Christine, began farming Wagyu in 2006 after over two decades with Angus cattle.
The farm is committed to ethically raising full-blood Wagyu cattle in the traditional Japanese way. The cattle are grass-fed until 18 months old before moving to a grain supplement, and live freely in paddocks. This process produces the farm's Wagyu beef in the pristine environment of the ranges.
Sevens Creek Wagyu offers BBQ farmgate dining experiences where visitors can pick their own steak, served with vegetables roasted in Wagyu fat and seasonal salads. Options include Korean BBQ and Sizzle Rocks available on weekends. The farm also provides accommodation at Polly McQuinn's Cottage. Products such as Wagyu steaks, value packs, and homemade pies are available for purchase via farm gate, online shop, and delivery within Victoria.
