Schottländers Wagyu produces world-class wagyu from the pristine coastal region of the New South Wales Illawarra. The farm, in development for over 13 years, manages a daily herd of 600 full-blood Wagyu cattle raised on lush coastal pastures, which contributes to the flavour and fat score of their grass-fed beef.
The cattle are raised with an emphasis on welfare, living with minimal stress and access to high-quality grass and water. Calves are born and processed on the farm to avoid transport stress, and the operation includes features like calming music and automated massage brushes. The farm uses solar energy and its location near Sydney helps minimise the environmental impact of transport. Their beef is sought after internationally.
