Red Hill Lavender Cafe & Lavender Farm

Red Hill Lavender Farm in Main Ridge brings a bit of Provence to Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. You can wander through their fields of lavender that are traditionally managed and hand cultivated. It's free to enter, so you can just rock up and soak in the fragrant atmosphere. They're open Thursday to Monday, from 10 am to 4 pm, so there's plenty of time to visit. You can grab freshly harvested bunches of lavender from the farm gate to take home, which is lovely. Even in late summer, when some of the flowers are fading, there are still heaps of rows perfect for photos through February. Don't forget to check out the FarmGate Bakehouse while you're there. They've got delicious treats to enjoy. You’ll also find handmade botanical products, all made with plant-based ingredients for their curative effects. It’s a great spot to connect with nature and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
