Prom Country Cheese is an award-winning farmhouse cheesemaker located in Moyarra, South Gippsland. They operate Victoria's first licensed raw milk cheese facility and specialise in certified organic raw milk cheese, handmade in their own cheesery from pure, fresh organic milk.
Their range of traditional artisan cheeses includes natural-rinded semi-hard, soft, marinated and blue varieties. Their Inverloch Blue cheese has been awarded Super Gold and crowned Best Australian Cheese at the World Cheese Awards, and was also crowned Grand Champion Cheese and Best Blue Cheese at the Australian Grand Dairy Awards. The business has received multiple awards at the Melbourne Royal Food Awards.
The cheesemaker's vision is to create traditional cheeses with pure and natural ingredients. They care for their land and animals by providing a diverse pasture to support a whole ecosystem, providing a true 'paddock to plate' experience. They acknowledge the Traditional Owners, the Bunurong People and the Gunaikurnai People in the South Gippsland Shire region.
