About
Picots Farm is a 1000-acre cattle property located 25km west of Warwick on the Darling Downs, owned by fourth-generation graziers whose family has been on the land for 80 years. The farm raises Angus cattle using holistic management, with livestock that are 100% grass-fed and moved under a planned grazing system using low-stress stock handling techniques.
The farm produces natural, hormone and chemical-free beef that is grass-fed and aged for 20 days. Customers can purchase beef directly from the farm gate or online shop, and also at the Warwick Farmers Market on Saturdays. The property features productive black soil flats, undulating hills with views to Cunningham's Gap, and large stands of timber supporting birdlife.
Picots Farm offers opportunities for farm visits by personal arrangement and hosts workshops on topics including regenerative agriculture business improvement and personal growth. The owners encourage support for other local food producers across the Southern Downs region.
