Pete's Travelling Pans is a food production business run by Pete, who has over three decades of hospitality experience starting in Sri Lankan hotels. He has previously owned award-winning cafes, a restaurant, and a wine centre in North Central Victoria. The business produces small-batch, additive-free curry pastes, chilli sauces, pickles, and chutneys from home-grown and locally sourced ingredients where possible. All products are gluten-free and contain no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives. The business is accredited with the Victorian Farmers Market Association and attends markets in Woodend, Tallarook, and Lancefield.
Beyond products, Pete offers four-hour cooking classes at a facility in Kilmore or in private homes for groups. He also runs immersive culinary and cultural tours to Sri Lanka, which he has been conducting since 2012. These tours include visits to food markets, temples, and hands-on cooking classes.
