Nunkri Orchard

Nunkri Orchard in Coromandel Valley is a cracking spot in the Adelaide Hills, where the Magarey family's been growing cracking pears and apples since way back in 1909. That's five generations of hard yakka, and the sixth is already getting amongst it. It's proper old-school, with their shed door sales right there on the farm. You can feel the history in the place, and it's a fair dinkum taste of South Australian farming heritage. Being so close to Adelaide's city centre, it's a surprisingly handy escape. They've copped some awards for their fruit, thanks to those cooler Adelaide Hills temps, so you know you're grabbing top-notch produce. It's a great chance to support a local grower and grab some really fresh, tasty fruit.
