About
Longley Organic Farm is a diversified cropping microfarm, community resource, and skill-sharing hub located in Longley, Tasmania. The farm focuses on local, ecological, and organic food production, aiming to develop professional micro-farming both locally and internationally.
The farm operates a Farmgate Honesty shop, which provides certified organic seasonal vegies, berries, raw honey, homemade jams, flowers, dried herbs, teas, and native pepperberries. It also sells vegie patch supplies such as plants, potting mixes, and soil inputs. An online shop is available at ActiveVista.com.au, offering microfarming tools, seed, services, and Regenerative Soil Inputs. Their jams and raw honeys are also sold at various Hill Street Grocer locations, and regenerative vegie patch inputs are available at several nurseries and garden centres.
Visitors can take tours around the farm, including market gardens, nursery, propagation areas, toolshed, greenhouses, and berry crops. Longley Organic Farm hosts Regenerative Farming Workshops and other activities. Opportunities for WWOOFing, volunteering, and participation in their C.S.A Community Supported Agriculture program are also available.
