About
Lomas Orchards is a working farm first established in 1938. The farm is run by several members of the Lomas family and has been passed down four generations. It consists of 50 acres of orchard growing over 32 different varieties of heritage apples and pears, stone fruits, strawberries and vegetables.
The farm offers pick your own strawberries between November and May, charged per kilogram. It provides pruning and grafting workshops from May to August, school and kindergarten educational tours, and apple tasting events. A farm cafe on site serves locally roasted coffee, cool drinks and ice creams. The farm operates as a cash-only facility and does not allow pets on site due to biosecurity reasons.
