La Cantara Artisan Cheeses produces Venezuelan and European style cheeses from its base in Smithton, Tasmania. The operation uses 100% Tasmanian milk from a herd of mixed breed cows milked at a state-of-the-art robotic dairy on a 29-hectare farm. The farm employs sustainable practices and focuses on animal welfare, with calving seasons in Spring and Autumn ensuring a continuous milk supply.
The founders, Rosselyn and her partner, are qualified veterinarians who arrived in Australia in November 2009. They gained their initial Australian farming experience working as farm hands on a beef cattle property in Queensland. Their cheeses are available for online ordering and are dispatched on Mondays via Express Post to maintain product quality during transit.

$15 FLAT RATE. We only ship through Express Post and dispatch on Mondays to avoid extended transit times. We recommend that all products are refrigerated on arrival.
