Jones Winery & Vineyard & Restaurant in Rutherglen has been operating since 1860, with vines nurtured on the property since that year. The Jones family's traditions of grape growing, winemaking and cooking have been maintained for six generations. The vineyard cultivates Rutherglen's signature Durif, Shiraz and Muscat, alongside Fiano, Marsanne and Roussanne. The property also raises Murray Grey cattle for the restaurant.
Winemaker Mandy Jones brings 14 years of experience from the Premier Cotes de Bordeaux region, while Benjamin Jones joined the winery in 2023 after studying at Adelaide University. The restaurant is led by chef Briony Bradford, whose cooking is influenced by classic French techniques. The winery is a Certified member of Sustainability Wine Growing Australia.
Visitors can taste wines at the heritage cellar door, dine at the restaurant, or have a picnic in the grounds. Accommodation is available in the Jones Tiny House overlooking the vineyard. The winery offers a Wine Selection Club with wines shipped twice per year.
