Huski Greens is a small-scale market garden located in Sorell, Southern Tasmania. The owners moved from inner Sydney to Tasmania in 2018 to establish their operation, which focuses on reducing food kilometres and supplying their local community with fresh, chemical-free produce. They grow a diverse range of chemical-free vegetables and micro greens, adhering to realorganic growing techniques without using any harmful chemicals or pesticides.
Their farming practices emphasise soil health and biodiversity, achieved by not tilling the soil. The business is also committed to environmental sustainability, using 100% compostable packaging and working towards a zero-waste operation. Their produce is available through Veg Box deliveries to Hobart every Saturday and at the Farm Gate Market every Sunday, as well as through wholesale channels and the Tasmanian Produce Collective.
