About
Humpty Doo Barramundi is a 100% Australian family-owned and operated aquaculture farm located halfway between Darwin and Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory. The farm is celebrating 30 years of sustainable growth, with sustainable food production central to its operations. Its barramundi are grown within a saltwater wetland system where water is cleaned using saltwater grasses and recirculated.
The farm achieved Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Certification, being the first Australian barramundi farm to meet these globally recognised standards for responsible aquaculture. It also won Best Responsible Seafood Producer at the 2026 Sustainable Seafood Awards. The barramundi is delivered fresh twice a week all year round, and is a low-fat, low-sodium fish containing Omega-3 fatty acids, selenium, zinc, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, vitamin A and Vitamin D. No antibiotics or hormones are used in the fish feed.
