About
Halls Family Dairy is a small family farm in Harvey, Western Australia, founded by Suzanne and Phil Hall. The family has been farming on their land since the 1890s. When the dairy industry changed, they adapted their practices to stay on the land, eventually creating their first artisan cheese, Suzette, in 2018.
Today, the farm milks a single herd of pure-bred Normande cows to produce two French style artisan cheeses. The next generation of the family continues the work. The business works closely with chefs, retailers and buyers who value quality and provenance, and its cheese is available through various stockists. Halls Family Dairy has been featured on 'Our State on a Plate' and is associated with 'Buy West Eat Best'.
