Golden Grove Orchard's a ripper spot in Lower Chittering, not far from Perth, where you can really get a feel for farm life. You can pick your own fruit straight from the trees, and they'll even give you a massive bucket for all your oranges. If you're not into picking, you can grab some fruits that are already picked. They press genuine fresh juice right there in front of you, which is pretty cool. The cafe's a lovely little place for a bite, open on weekends and holidays, serving up light snacks and coffee. People rave about the scones and friendly staff, so you can sit back, enjoy the views, and watch the kids on the playground. There are even some sheep, ponies, and cows to say g'day to.
