FRUIT FOREST FARM

Fruit Forest Farm, down in South East Queensland, offers a cracking day out with a bit of a difference. You'll jump on a tractor and trailer for a guided tour that takes you right through their exotic fruit orchards. It's not just a look-see either, you get to taste heaps of their tropical fruits and they even give you a complimentary exotic fruit drink when you arrive. They're set up for group bookings mainly, perfect for school trips, seniors' groups, or community outings, and can fit about 20 people on the trailer, though they can sort out bigger groups too. You'll even get to meet the farmers and hear all about what goes into growing these fantastic fruits, giving you a real insight into exotic fruit farming in our own backyard. If you're after something a bit different to do in QLD, this place is well worth a look. They've even got a nursery if you're keen to try growing some of these exotic beauties yourself.
