Freshfield Grove

Freshfield Grove is an olive grove located at 49 Tea Tree Road in Campania, just outside Richmond, Tasmania. It is owned by a British doctor who moved to Tasmania and purchased the property. The grove cultivates around 1000 trees of the Spanish varieties Picual and Manzanillo, producing extra virgin olive oil and olive leaf tea.

The farm offers an 'Adopt an Olive Tree' program, which includes an adoption certificate, a digital photo and map of the tree, and delivery of the next harvest of extra virgin olive oil. Adopters can also visit their tree and receive a tour of the grove on selected days. Freshfield Grove has hosted workshops such as a Christmas wreath-making event featuring Tasmanian wine and cheese. The farm is also developing olive oil granola bars using local Tasmanian ingredients and experimenting with different methods for drying olive leaves to alter the taste of their tea.
