About
Fat Pig Farm is a mixed farm on melurkurdee Country, historically farmed by the palawa people of lutruwita. Run by Matthew and Sadie, the farm raises Wessex saddleback pigs, grows vegetables, fattens goats and milks a Jersey cow. Its goal is to grow and rear food in a way that regenerates the soil for future generations.
Keeley runs a small market garden on the farm and hosts garden tours. The farm offers private functions and holds a Tasmanian liquor license. Matthew is also available for speaking engagements at off-farm events. As part of its ethos, Fat Pig Farm will host the second Grounded Australia soil, food and farming festival on September 19th and 20th, 2025, in Bridgetown, Western Australia.
