Farm Raiser

Farm Raiser is a not-for-profit urban farm and registered charity located behind Waratah Special Developmental School in Naarm's north-eastern suburbs. The farm cultivates two acres of vegetables and cut flowers on a reclaimed school oval using organic and bio-intensive methods.

The farm is sustained through the sale of its produce and runs education and vocational programs for students with disabilities. It also provides high-quality food relief to locals and offers therapeutic horticulture for victim/survivors of sexual assault. Farm Raiser runs volunteer sessions, community events, tours, and working bees, and has been featured on Gardening Australia. The farm acknowledges Wurundjeri Woiwurrong people as Traditional Owners of the land and is proud to Pay the Rent.
