About
Dudley Wines has been growing grapes on Kangaroo Island for over 30 years now, celebrating three decades in 2024. You'll find their clifftop cellar door just 12 kilometres from the Penneshaw ferry, looking out over Backstairs Passage to mainland Australia. They're open five days a week, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, so you've got plenty of time to drop in. You can try any of their 14 wines, all grown and made right there on Kangaroo Island, with tasting paddles available or just grab a glass or bottle. Beyond the wine, Dudley Wines also sells bits and pieces from other local producers, plus artworks and a range of clothing made from All Season's wool and natural fibres. If you're feeling peckish, they do pizzas and platters for lunch. It's a good spot for families too, with heaps of lawn for the kids to run around and a nature play area to keep 'em busy. Plus, there's even a one-hole golf course if you fancy a swing.
