DM Jennings & Sons have been growing strawberries in Cygnet, down in Tasmania's Huon Valley, since 1983. That's over 40 years of local know-how going into every punnet. The Jennings family started out as a small operation, but they've grown to become the biggest commercial strawberry farm in all of Tasmania. They supply their superb strawberries all over Australia, so chances are you might have even tried them without realising. You'll find them on Slab Road, just outside Cygnet. While the website focuses on their wholesale operations, a farm gate sale seems like a natural fit for a place that's been a local fixture for so long. It would be a great spot to grab some seriously fresh strawberries direct from the growers if you're ever in the area. Plus, you'd be supporting a long-standing Tasmanian family business.
