About
Day's Walk Farm is a suburban market garden located 22km from Melbourne CBD, on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woiwurrong people. It is operated by Paul Miragliotta, who began his career as a radiographer before working in edible landscaping and market gardening. He holds a Diploma in Agriculture - Organic Production and was a founding director of Farmer Incubator.
The farm promotes and practices regenerative farming techniques and has converted to a very limited tillage production, observing gradual environmental improvements since 2015. It delivers seasonal vegetables twice weekly to restaurants in the inner North and Melbourne CBD, with orders often harvested the day of delivery. The farm also supplies produce to Healthy Fresh Boxes for home delivery, with weekly drop-offs.
Day's Walk Farm hosts regular farm tours and offers a residential internship program that runs for three and a half months over spring/summer or summer/autumn. It has an online shop and delivers within specified areas.
