About
Chestnut Grove Wines is a family-owned winery tucked away on Chestnut Grove Road in Manjimup, Western Australia. Vic Kordic started with a passion for wine back in 1987, and that’s blossomed into a place producing some cracking cool-climate wines. They reckon their spot, with its long, cool growing season and rich jarrah and karri loam soils, is perfect for growing grapes with heaps of flavour. They’re widely known for their Verdelho, Merlot, and Pinot Noir, all estate-grown and bottled right there. Now, it’s not just about the wine at Chestnut Grove. They also make Verjuice and Verjuice Rouge, a bit of a modern twist on an old-school ingredient. It’s less acidic than lemon and adds a subtle flavour to cooking, great in risottos or salad dressings. You can pick up a mixed dozen of their wines and get free delivery anywhere in Australia. If you’re ever in the Southern Forests region, it’s worth a look.
