Burando Downs is a family-owned boutique garlic farm located on the Darling Downs, operated by Leon and Lois Schroeder since 2013. All garlic is 100% Australian grown and cultivated naturally without chemicals or pesticides. At harvest, bulbs are gently lifted from the soil by hand and hand-tended at all stages of growing to prevent damage.

The farm produces fresh garlic varieties including Italian Pink, Australian Purple, and Elephant Garlic. It also offers a range of culinary creations made with this locally grown garlic, such as black garlic, which is softer, chewier, sweeter and contains twice the antioxidants of regular garlic. Garlic from Burando Downs is noted for its health benefits.
