About
Down in South East Queensland, you'll stumble across Blue Dog Farm on Mount Mee Road. It's a proper farm gate where Jacki Hinchey and her crew put heaps of effort into growing good tucker. They're big on their 'Really Fancy Salad' and 'Really Good Beef', both grown right there in Brisbane's backyard. The salad mix is a real standout, with 10-14 different leaves, flower petals, and microgreens all mixed in. Folks like Ranee Veerassamy from Rani's Cuisine reckon it's the best salad mix they've ever had, saying it spoils you for anything else. And the beef? It's raised on fresh, healthy pastures, which you can taste in every bite. They're open Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 am to 5 pm, so you can grab their farm-fresh produce directly. You can even sign up on their website to hear about events and recipe ideas. Blue Dog Farm isn't just about selling produce though, they're all about looking after the land and bringing delicious, honest food from their farm to your plate, whether you're feeding your family or stocking a restaurant.
