Barron River Redclaw is a family-run sustainable aquaculture farm located in Biboohra on the Atherton Tablelands, near Cairns. The farm uses aquaponics, permaculture, and regenerative agriculture to raise its 100% Australian-grown redclaw. It operates as a living demonstration site, sharing hands-on skills in redclaw crayfish farming and aquaponics. The owners are qualified environmental managers who aim for optimal environmental outcomes and work alongside Indigenous partnerships to strengthen local food security through practical aquaculture and education.

Customers can place orders online for farm gate collection in Biboohra every Friday between 1 PM and 5 PM, with payment required by the prior Wednesday to ensure fresh preparation. The farm also supplies environmentally sustainably farmed Australian Redclaw direct to restaurants, pubs, food wholesalers, and fish markets Australia Wide. Educational farm tours, hands-on workshops, and online courses are available.
