Avonsleigh Berries

Avonsleigh Berries is a family business started in 1980 by Frank Edlinger, whose vision was to introduce blueberries to the Australian public. The first blueberry field was planted in 1982, with a second following in 1985. The business grew to supply greengrocers and even exported to Europe for a number of years before increasing freight costs led to a rethink and the adoption of the U-pick model.

Harald and Martine now run the farm, striving to provide high-quality fruit through natural and organic farming practices. Fresh blueberries and sour cherries are available from early December to mid-February. Sour cherries are exclusively for U-pick and farm gate sales, while U-pick for both fruits runs from December 27th until sold out, with booking essential. The farm offers local delivery.
