About
Avonmore Estate Wines is a biodynamic vineyard tucked away in Bendigo, Victoria. Pauline and Rob Bryans started it up 30 years ago, focusing on small batch, boutique winemaking right there next to the vines. Now, the Marsh family are the new custodians, looking after the soil and the vines with the same care. They make wines without any additives or preservatives, which is great for anyone who prefers a clean drop and cares about produce grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. It's all vegan-friendly too. You can grab their cleanskin wines by the case, like the 2016 Shiraz Viognier, which spent 18 months in American oak. There's also their 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, matured in French oak, and the 2017 Sparkling Shiraz, also American oak-aged. Don't forget the 2015 Sangiovese, rested in Hungarian oak barrels. All their wines are 100% estate grown and produced, using natural yeasts from the Avonmore Vineyard itself. They press them out in a basket press and cold stabilise them before bottling on-site. You can pick up a case or order online and get it delivered straight to your door.
